CPD TRIP TO BRISTOL

Staff at Poole Philips enjoyed a CPD day in Bristol this week, visiting some of Bristol’s Churches before heading to the Filwood Green Business Park. Filwood green is an ecological business park aimed at new businesses and people looking to move away from a home office. It is part of a larger restoration of the ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Knowle West area. It boasts on-site electric car charging, produces 40% renewable energy and houses 84% recycled furniture. Filwood Green has been rated as a BREAAM outstanding building. We finished the day travelling back via the Hanham Hall Eco Village, and the new Gloucester motorway service station. Both areas focus on an interest in Ecological design and Energy saving.
