19 Market Place is a prominent building on the Chipping Norton High Street. The premises has been left vacant for a number of years and is in need of a complete overhaul and retrofit. The client, The Phone Co-op, has instructed PPA to design the spatial arrangement and refurbishment specification required to transform the building into a contemporary office accommodation.

 

The proposal achieves this with minimal intervention to the existing building fabric, whilst also improving the means of escape and providing a new lift for disabled access throughout. Ultimately the proposal will allow the client to maintain their business within Chipping Norton and continue to contribute to the local economy.
