After three decades in the Pershore market, Abbey Butchers finally felt it time to move on to the High Street to open up the opportunity for increased trading hours and the chance to create a custom fitted shop.

Poole Phillips were appointed to obtain planning permission on the listed High Street building, which we submitted for in 2015. Seeking to remove the existing shop front to be replaced with a new, traditionally constructed, timber framed glazed shop front unit, the aim was to preserve and enhance the street scene, together with restoring the shops High Street significance.
